It was a game for the books that's for sure..... Culver beat Lakeview to make it to the final State Championship game!
Nervous stomaches and jittery hands were found all around the beautiful Summitt High School Stadium on Saturday, November 22, 2008 when the Culver Bulldogs had Goose for Lunch. Culver beat Lakeview in a tough game with a score of 24-14. This whole team deserves credit for the heart it took to beat the Lakeview Honkers. Nevin Lewis was the star of the game that's for sure, but the humble man Nevin is, I am sure he'd just as soon give credit to his blockers, and lineman. Austin Alley was his usual BULLDOZER self and pounded his way to pay turf as well. The croud was loud, the cheers were great and the BEST TEAM WON THIS GAME..........THAT IS FOR SURE!!!! Great going Bulldogs!
