Culver, Oregon State Football Champs!

The Culver Bulldogs played their hearts out but came up short of another championship vs. Knappa, Nov.29, 2008.

Hearts were heavy, faces were long, but this Bulldog team never pointed fingers or placed blame. They win as a team and they lose as a team. They are all proud of one another and thanked each other for always being there for one another on and off the field. Lineman were thanked by the backs and QB for doing their jobs well, and special teams were thanked for giving it their all. The defense was the star of this game and they deserve a special kudos for their efforts all year long. Culver's defense was the best in the State for sure. Good job to the Seniors, Nevin Lewis, Austin Alley, Ben Fisher, Jack Pratt, Garret Mauretson, Casey Blackburn. You will be missed. It will be hard to fill your shoes.

Congrats on a well played game at the state championship. I would have to say that Culver was the best team Knappa has played all year. The fans and players were great, and it was an honor to have such a formidable opponent. As a Knappa fan with a son on the team all I can say is that your players were great and the fans were also. It's nice to see such professionalism in such a rough sport. I look forward to seeing you in the playoffs next year.
